Colorado Dance Collective: Serving in the Art Community

The Colorado Dance Collective (CDC) is a non-profit dance company that co-founder Stephanie Wilson has been involved with in a variety of capacities for over a decade. Applied Worldwide is proud to partner with CDC, providing website design and social media services to improve the non-profit’s web traffic and fundraising.

Website Design

In 2021, Applied Worldwide suggested and completed improvements to Colorado Dance Collective’s website to streamline communication between the organization, the local community, and potential donors.

Site visitors can now easily find the organization’s mission, see samples of artistic endeavors, easily find ticket sales for upcoming performances, and donate directly to the non-profit via their website.

Five months post the new site launch, the renovated website has attracted over 500 unique visitors. The streamlined contact feature on the website has also brought more than 15 new interested dancers in contact with the company. Board members and company dancers alike have praised the new site for its functionality and communication streamlining capabilities.

Social Media Content and Strategy

Applied Worldwide began providing social media services to the CDC in 2020. Services included strategizing the non-profit’s social media presence on Facebook and Instagram with fundraising campaigns and event promotion.

Both follower counts and engagement have increased significantly for the non-profit’s Facebook and Instagram accounts since working with Applied Worldwide. Their fundraising campaign on social media for 2020’s Colorado Gives Day also helped the non-profit raise nearly $8,000.

You can see a small sample of original graphics created for the CDC’s various events and campaigns below.

As a non-profit, the Colorado Dance Collective depends solely on volunteers, including the directors of their five companies—ballet, hip hop, jazz, tap, and swing—who volunteer their time each week for classes and rehearsals.
